AUCTION TERMS

By participating in the auction, bidders and buyers agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined below.

Bidding

To place bids in the auction, the bidder must register as a customer. Bids placed are binding. Myntauktioner i Sverige AB reserves the right to disregard bids that are considered untrustworthy or unreliable for any reason. The auctioneer has sole authority over all matters related to the conduct of the auction. This includes the right to merge, exclude, or change the order of items relative to the auction catalogue, as well as to settle any disputes that may arise during bidding. Telephone bids can be accepted by agreement.

Starting Prices

The starting prices, listed in Swedish kronor (SEK), are minimum prices below which the item will not be sold.

Buyer's Premium

A buyer's commission of 18.75% (15% + VAT) will be added.
At the speciell auction Gold, the buyers premium is only 5% (4% + VAT) will be added.

Payment

Payment must be made within ten days after the buyer has received payment instructions with the total amount and shipping costs. Ownership of the purchased items will transfer to the buyer only after full payment is made. In the event of delayed payment, Myntauktioner i Sverige AB reserves the right to either cancel the sale or forward the matter to a collections agency. Until cancellation or payment is made, late payment interest will accrue at a rate of one (1) percent per month on the current amount.

Delivery

Purchased items must, after payment, be collected immediately following the auction (applies to our quality/floor auctions). Items not collected on the auction day will be shipped by Myntauktioner i Sverige AB to the buyer once full payment has been received. We charge a service fee of SEK 200 for handling all purchases not collected after the conclusion of the auction (this fee is charged even for purchases that are not to be shipped). The corresponding amount for international shipments is SEK 300. We offer free shipping and insurance (up to SEK 100,000 per standard shipment). For higher insurance values, special conditions apply. We do not accept responsibility for purchased items remaining in our possession after the invoice due date has passed. All costs arising in connection with the shipment of items abroad, of any kind, must be borne entirely by the buyer. Myntauktioner i Sverige AB disclaims all responsibility in this regard.

Liability for Errors

Items are sold in their current condition. Myntauktioner i Sverige AB is not responsible for incorrect information unless it is due to gross negligence. Any errors must be reported immediately, but no later than three weeks from the auction date. The authenticity of items in our online auctions is guaranteed.

Disputes

Any disputes related to the auction shall be resolved according to Swedish law and by the Stockholm District Court.

Bid Increments

Depending on the type of auction, bid increments may vary.

Shipments

Myntauktioner i Sverige AB is not responsible for higher insurance amounts than what can be agreed with the postal service. All other insurance solutions or transport arrangements must be arranged by the customer. If the value of the shipped item exceeds the maximum compensation amount, the customer assumes full risk if they request the shipment. Myntauktioner i Sverige AB is also not responsible for ensuring that sold items are permitted for export. Myntauktioner i Sverige AB does not guarantee that the packaging of auction items at the time of sale is free from softeners or otherwise suitable for long-term storage.
